  • 4-in-1 detection: SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, influenza B and RSV.
  • Reading time: read after 15 minutes.
  • Home self-test: follow the age and assistance requirements in the instructions.

Who Should Use the CorDx 4in1 Test?

The linked instructions specify self-collected nasal samples from symptomatic users aged 14 and over within the first 7 days of symptoms. For children aged 2 and over, an adult collects the sample. For use without symptoms or for other circumstances, follow the specific intended-use conditions in the instructions. Test results are preliminary and do not replace clinical assessment.

Medical Data & Reliability

Clinical performance varies by target; consult the current instructions for use for study results. A negative result does not rule out infection.

Package Contents

  • 1 × CorDx 4in1 Combo Test Card (individually sealed)
  • 1 × Sterile Nasal Swab (pre-packaged)
  • 1 × Extraction Tube with Buffer Solution (ready-to-use)
  • 1 × Detailed Instruction Leaflet (multilingual)
  • 1 × Disposal Pouch (for safe waste handling)

How to Use the CorDx Self-Test

Step 1: Preparation
Remove the test kit from its packaging and lay all components on a clean, flat surface. Ensure you have good lighting and allow the test to reach room temperature before beginning. Read the instruction leaflet carefully to familiarize yourself with the procedure.

Step 2: Swab Collection
Using the sterile swab supplied with the test, carefully insert the tip 2–4 cm into one nostril until resistance is met. Rotate the swab 5 times in a circular motion against the inner wall of the nostril. Repeat in the other nostril using the same swab, then withdraw it.

Step 3: Sample Extraction
Immediately insert the swab to the bottom of the extraction tube containing buffer solution. Rotate and press the swab 10 times against the bottom and side of the tube. Leave it in the tube for 1 minute. Then rotate and squeeze the tube several times from the outside and remove the swab. Fit the dropper tip firmly onto the tube and mix the liquid by swirling or flicking the bottom of the tube.

Step 4: Apply Sample to Test Card
Place the test card on a flat, clean, dry surface. Turn the extraction tube upside down and add 3 drops of the extracted sample into each of the two sample wells.

Step 5: Wait for Results
Leave the test card flat and read the results after 15 minutes. Do not move or lift the card during the test. Results appear as colored lines in the two result windows.

Step 6: Read & Interpret Results
Check the control line (C) in each result window and compare the C, T1 and T2 lines with the diagrams in the instructions. In the Flu A/B window, T1 indicates influenza A and T2 indicates influenza B. In the COVID-19/RSV window, T1 indicates RSV and T2 indicates COVID-19. Only control lines in both windows indicate negative results for all four pathogens. A result window without a control line is invalid.
